PS3 XPLODER Tutorial
For anyone having troubles with their Xploder Program here is a tutorial to help you Copy, Upload and Resign your save files. For those that want to get into Unlocking PSN Copy Protected Saves it's in here too. Have Fun.
- Spoiler:
After installing the software, open Xploder.
1. Search the internet, or the database of Xploder and download the save for the game you want.
if you have downloaded a save previously, put that save in an USB under
USB---->PS3/SAVEDATA
make sure you are using the same game ID region.
for diferent region saves check the next page of this tut. but keep reading this =D
NOW
if you dont see your save click right button and refresh your mem card
and in xploder you will se this. I.E MVSC3
now this is your "hacked" save OK??? it means this its not your save...[for now =D]
2.- you only need to "drag and drop" the save you want in your PC drop that save over "my ps3 gamesaves" move it. now you see this
3.- now copy "YOUR SAVE DATA" directly from your PS3 and put it in the same USB if you want
now you see two saves
4.- now, make sure that you save data say (online) that means its atached to a real PSN user
and now do the same, but backwards
5.- Drag and Drop, drag the "other save" from "my ps3 gamesave" into your save "media files in mem card"
and overwrite the existing one.
6.- take out your USB and go to your ps3 the save now must work with your PSN ID user.
thats all. nothing more.
if you get errors when you copy the save into your PS3 like data corruption or user from another ID........
then YOU DID SOMETHING WRONG, THE SOFTWARE WORKS WITH ALL THE SAVES
try again, and read carefuly
BTW, you dont need to say "thanks mate" or "good tut"
there is a button for that OK.? under the signature. use it. if you find this useful,
newbies you need 50 post to see the button.....
dont just leech this site, make some contributions to the site
[multipage=USING DIFERENT REGION SAVES "SWAP FILES TRICK"]
first get both saves, yours and the other save (diferent region)
in this case prince of persia warrior within
as you can see in this picture
the saves are:
1 fron disc retail version (the other save, the save i want)
1 from psn version (mine)
now put both saves into your memory card USB under PS3/SAVEDATA
Open the "other" save.
now copy all the files except the PARAM.SFO AND THE PICTURES
paste over to YOUR SAVE
Delete the other save.
open xploder you see this
and now drag and drop that save over "ps3 game saves" and COPY
now you have two
and then drag from PS3 GAMESAVES over your MEM CARD
an error will come up
IGNORE THAT. and overwrite.
your done. thats all, you have changed the region of the game to yours.
some saves have more that SYS-DATA or SVGAME00
like FEAR 3 have more files or call of duty games, or street fighter.... etc etc
in that case its the same "swap" all the files except the param.SFO .
Like someone say in this thread, Like The FTP Method
Enjoy.
also you can use copy protected saves using this tutorial.
the only thing you need to know is:
you must find a save of the same region of your game.
because, if you are in OFW you cant get a param.sfo of that game.
BUT, if you find the save with all the files and its the same region as yours. then you are clear to go, because xploder remover copy protection
[multipage=UPLOADING YOUR SAVE]
this is easy
in your left side right click in the desired gamesave and "upload"
Just edit and be very clear in the description.
accept terms of service and click upload gamesave.
wait for it and your done.
[multipage=STATUS OF XPLODER]
but dont go and make another thread in this forum just for that OK. every thread about that will be closed.
so, yo will get and error saying cant resigns save.
you have nothing to do just wait

THANK HIM FOR THIS AWSOME VIDEO.
This video tutorial shows you how to:Xploder Video Tutorial: - Use copy-protected, locked saves
- Change the region by hex editing the .SFO file (only required for locked saves)
- Re-sign to your PSN profile using Xploder
You will need:- USB stick with at least one original save, copied straight from your PS3
(in the video example, this is Plants vs. Zombies) - Copy-protected save, with the PARAM.SFO file included
(in the video example, this is DJ Hero 2) - Hex editor
(I demonstrate using PS3 SFO Edit - free download here) - Xploder Ultimate Edition
In the example, I show how to use a DJ Hero 2 save which is 1) locked, and 2) an EU region save.
This video tutorial shows how to fix both of those issues, unlocking the save and converting from EU to US.- Because it is locked, you cannot copy your own PARAM.SFO file from your PS3 to onto the USB stick.
The good news is that you don't need to.
We'll show how Xploder still works, even without your .SFO file. - Normally, Xploder automatically converts saves between regions.
However, with a locked save, you cannot provide your own .SFO file...
So, we will HexEdit the DJ Hero 2 save to change the region from EU to US manually.
Locked SavesFrequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
Q: What is a locked save?
A: These are copy protected saves, meaning that you are locked from copying your save files from your PS3 to the USB stick.
Q: Which games use locked saves?
A: Unfortunately, many of the games which have hacked trophy savegames on this site are also copy protected with locked saves, including: Assassin's Creed 2, Bayonetta, Demon's Souls, DJ Hero 1 & 2, Heavy Rain, Killzone 2, Need for Speed Shift, Need for Speed Undercover, UFC 2009, WWF Smackdown 2010, & Wipeout HD, among others. PS3Trophies maintains an updated list of games which use locked saves. PS3T's Official Locked Saved Games Thread
Q: I'm on OFW and can't copy my locked save onto the USB stick. Can I still use a hacked save for this game??
A: Yes. If you're on Original Firmware (OFW) and trying to use Xploder to hack trophies, you cannot copy your saves onto USB. The good news is that you don't need to. Even though you cannot copy your .SFO file from your PS3 onto the USB stick, Xploder will still work without your .SFO file, even for gamesaves from different regions. Watch the video above.
Changing Your Regions (BLUS/BLES)
Q: Do I need to HexEdit the PARAM.SFO file every time I want to change the region of a save?
A: No. Only for locked saves. For normal, unlocked saves, just copy all the files except PARAM.SFO from the hacked save into your save, overwriting your save files.
from time to time xploder servers go offline, i dont know the reason, but dont go and make another thread in this forum just for that OK. every thread about that will be closed.
so, yo will get and error saying cant resigns save.
you have nothing to do just wait
