Loyal customers of PSN are being sent a free code to reward them for their loyalty to the service worth $10.

PSN users from around the globe have been receiving free $10 voucher codes in their message inbox off Sony for being a loyal customer. It is unknown what you have to have done to receive one of these codes, but sources have said that they have received codes when they have never signed up to PlayStation Plus and bought items off the store, not have a high trophy level, but have spent a lot of time gaming. The message reads;

Thank you for being a loyal customer and fan of the PlayStation Network. As a token of our appreciation, we've sent you $10.00 to spend on the PlayStation Store! Click on the link below to receive your voucher.

Last year Microsoft sent it's loyal customers from the beginning a free limited edition Xbox 360 and we feel this is Sony doing a mediocre job of the same thing, but with the expected PlayStation 4 reveal tonight, who would want a new PlayStation 3 when it's successor is just around the corner!
